I’d like to start physical therapy. Is the first appointment different from a regular session?

Dodo

Your first visit is an initial evaluation. Riverside has Tuesday at 5:30 available. Does that work?

Jamie

Riverside is perfect. I can come after work, around 5:30.

A little more detail

Common questions.

How much does Dodo cost?

Dodo bills monthly. The clinic’s quote sets out usage rates and any monthly minimum or cap before signing. For an estimate, share the number of locations and typical call volume with the Dodo team.

Discuss pricing

Does Dodo replace the front-desk team?

No. Dodo handles routine calls, texts, and bookings so staff can focus on the people in the clinic. The team decides which calls Dodo takes and can start with overflow or after-hours coverage.

What happens if Dodo doesn’t know the answer?

If the clinic’s instructions don’t cover a question, Dodo can transfer the caller to staff or take a message for follow-up. Each clinic decides how to handle urgent calls and requests to speak with a person. Clinical decisions stay with the care team.

How much staff time does setup take?

Plan for a kickoff, a review of booking and handoff rules, and a few test calls. Dodo handles the technical setup and trains the team. The clinic can get an estimate of staff time once Dodo knows which systems, workflows, and locations are involved.

How does Dodo handle security, SOC 2, and HIPAA?

Dodo encrypts data in transit and at rest, limits access by role, and aligns its security controls with SOC 2 criteria. For clinics treating people, Dodo must agree in writing before the service is used for protected health information. A business associate agreement must be in place when HIPAA requires one.

Can this help with recurring visits?

Recurring appointment reminders and rescheduling are workflows we can map with your team. The exact setup depends on your scheduling system and rules.

Does the AI create treatment plans?

No. Therapists remain responsible for assessment and treatment. Dodo’s proposed role is administrative communication and scheduling support.
